This is an album of chants, announcements, and curses against rock music from the Church Universal and Triumphant, Inc. (formerly known as The Summit Lighthouse) based in Gardiner, Montana. Mark Prophet, their leader, claimed he was contacted by the Ascended Masters in 1945 at the age of 18, and announced that he was a Messenger sent to transmit knowledge to humanity.

In 1961, Mark Prophet married Elizabeth Clare Prophet, and after Mark's death in 1975, Elizabeth restructured the group as the Church Universal and Triumphant. Over time, Elizabeth's predictions took on apocalyptic overtones, often focusing on the possibility of nuclear war.

The philosophy of the Church Universal and Triumphant taught that the Ascended Masters were trying to guide humanity towards their own ascension to the next level of spiritual evolution, but "dark forces" stood in their way. These included aliens, the government, communists (and other lefties), other religions, Hollywood, and rock music. If these "dark forces" were not stopped, then the world would end on or around the year 1990.

In 1989, it was discovered that the Church Universal and Triumphant was building fallout shelters and that members of the church had purchased weapons illegally. The FBI, the ATF, state, and local law enforcement agencies subsequently investigated the church. The investigation resulted in one member being sentenced to one month in prison and three months of house detention.

The Church Universal and Triumphant continues to hold quarterly sessions at the Royal Teton Ranch and Summit University retreats for teens and young adults around the world.
